Anita Sathe

Global Bluestream™ and US Affinity Leader

Anita is responsible for driving the Affinity and Sponsored Programs businesses for Marsh in the US and accelerating the global growth and development of Bluestream, the cloud-based digital broker platform for the affinity market.

This augmented role enables Anita to meet the growing demand for affinity products and services by combining responsibility for sponsored programs in the US and Bluestream under one leader. In this capacity, Anita oversees the delivery of Bluestream technology to all Affinity clients, allowing them to benefit from digital distribution efficiencies and improved risk management overall.

Anita has more than 15 years of industry experience and is widely recognized as a leader in insurance technology, digital distribution, and product strategy. She joined Marsh in 2019 from CoverHound where she most recently served as chief strategy officer and as co-founder of CyberPolicy.com. Prior to that, she held various senior roles at Deloitte Consulting, where she developed a focus on digital distribution in the insurance industry.

Our Role and Compensation

Marsh is acting as Broker and Program Administrator to Amazon and as Producer/Co-Producer for the Program insurers.

In accordance with industry custom, we are compensated through commissions that are calculated as a percentage of the insurance premiums charged by insurers and/or fees agreed to with our clients. We may also receive additional monetary and nonmonetary compensation from insurers, or from other insurance intermediaries, which may be contingent upon volume, profitability, or other factors. This compensation may include payment from insurers for marketing related expenses or investments in technology.  Our compensation may vary depending on the type of insurance purchased and the insurer selected. Where permitted by law, we may also earn and retain interest income on premiums held by Marsh on behalf of insurers during the period between receipt of such payments from clients and the time such payments are remitted to the insurer.
