Event Cancellation

Program Overview

This insurance is available to cover a member’s event if cancelled.

An event cancellation insurance policy insures against the financial loss arising out of the cancellation, interruption, or postponement of a covered event, as long as the source of the cancellation or postponement is covered in the policy.

Eligibility

All WCIA members are eligible.

Policy Details

Mercer Consumer, a service of Mercer Health & Benefits Administration LLC, underwrites the risk via Expo. If there are circumstances (i.e. claims, etc.) which require additional review, London insurers will evaluate further.

Cost

A fully completed application is required in order to secure a quote. Determining factors for cost include but are not limited to:

Event to be insured (e.g. convention, trade show, public/private, exhibits included, consumer show, outdoor exposure, dependent on a speaker, etc.)
