Flood Insurance

The National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) can provide Flood coverage in addition to the coverage currently provided by WCIA.

Program Overview

This insurance is available to cover a member’s flood exposure.  All Members of WCIA’s existing property program have flood coverage through the WCIA property program for scheduled locations.  This flood coverage is in addition to the WCIA coverage and any recovery under this program is applied toward fulfilling any applicable deductible under the WCIA program.  Please contact Deputy Rob Roscoe at 206-687-7892 for any questions regarding your coverage under the WCIA Property Program.

The National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) is a federally funded program established in 1968 to make flood insurance available at a reasonable cost for properties located in participating communities. NFIP flood insurance is available only for direct damage to buildings and contents; there is no time element coverage.
