A small liberal arts college in the northeast sought to improve pricing from its existing cyber insurance policy. Their current policy did not provide discounts based on their use of the AWS Security Hub and adherence to the AWS Foundational Security Best Practices.
The solution
The SMB was able to quickly and efficiently apply for coverage via the digital application and receive a quote for cyber insurance from one of the participating insurance carriers. Soon after applying, the client received a competitively priced quote for comprehensive coverage through the Marsh Cyber Accelerate program.
The result
By enabling the AWS Security Hub and by adhering to AWS Foundational Security Best Practices, the college received a discount of more than $2,600 on its cyber insurance coverage.
