WCIA currently provides all of their Members with Cyber coverage at no additional charge. However, if your agency is looking for a Cyber policy with different terms and conditions, you will have to purchase a standalone policy for your agency. Members cannot have two separate Cyber policies. By purchasing a standalone policy, your agency will be removed from the WCIA Cyber policy and will be billed directly for any policy purchased through this portal. This insurance is available to cover a member's liability arising from cyber breaches and other events. Please contact WCIA's Deputy Director, Rob Roscoe at +1 206 687 7892 if you have any questions regarding your Cyber coverage with WCIA.
Cyber and Privacy Insurance provides coverage for financial losses that result from data breaches and other cyber events. Policies may include both first-party and third-party coverages. First-party coverages pay out-of-pocket expenses that an agency directly incurs as a result of a breach. Third-party coverages apply to damages or settlements an agency is obligated to pay as a result of claims or suits for injuries that result from the agency’s actions or failure to act.
All WCIA members are eligible.
